Description 151017-N-GG458-028 THE TAGUS RIVER (Oct. 17, 2015) The amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) pulls into Lisbon, Portugal to participate in Trident Juncture 2015. Trident Juncture is a NATO-led exercise designed to certify NATO response forces abd develop interoperability among participating NATO and partner nations. Arlington is underway on her maiden voyage as part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (KSGARG) deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
