Description
English: 151120-N-UF697-702 EAST CHINA SEA (Nov. 20, 2015) The People’s Liberation Army Navy Jiangkai II class guided-missile frigate Xuzhou (FFG 530) steams alongside the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) during a Code for Unplanned Encounters at Sea (CUES) and a search-and-rescue (SAR) exercise. Stethem recently visited Shanghai to build relationships with the PLA Navy and demonstrate the U.S. Navy’s commitment to the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
