Description 160303-N-MV308-009 SIGONELLA, Sicily (March 3, 2016) Rear Adm. Matt Zirkle, commander, Submarines NATO, receives ditching instructions from Lt. Celesse Hidrovo-Guidry, assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 9, during a visit to Naval Air Station Sigonella on March 3, 2016. Zirkle flew on VP-9’s P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft during NATO’s anti-submarine warfare exercise Dynamic Manta 2016 (DYMA 16). DYMA 16 involved ships, submarines, aircraft and personnel from eight Allied nations converging on the central Mediterranean Sea for anti-submarine warfare and anti-surface warfare training.
