Description
English: The house on the left is 1607 31st Street NW (built in 1858, modified in 1888 by architect George S. Cooper). The house on the right is the W. Taylor Birch House (built in 1890, designed by Thomas Franklin Schneider), also known as the Mariner-Lewis House, at 3099 Q Street NW, also known as 1601 31st Street NW. The houses are contributing properties to the Georgetown Historic District in Washington, D.C.
