Deutsch: Medaille in Gold zu 50 Dukaten von 1690, gefertigt in Celle von dem Hofgoldschmied, Münzmeister und Medailleur Ernst Brabandt sowie Arvid Karlsteen:
  1. Geharnischtes und drapiertes Brustbild des Fürsten Georg Wilhelm von Braunschweig-Lüneburg mit Allongeperücke nach rechts
  2. ein steigendes oder springends Pferd über eine mit Felsen, Busch und Baum angedeutete Landschaft innerhalb der Umschrift

„QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCENT“

Dieses von der Gorny & Mosch Giessener Münzhandlung in der Auktion 303 mit der Losnummer 1105 angebotene Prägung mit einem Gewicht von 172,09 g ist "Von allergrößter Seltenheit" und ist das zweite bis Anfang 2024 bekannt gewordene Exemplar. Diese goldene Medaille, von der es auch eine silberne Version gibt, zeigt Randfehler und -dellen und wird daher in seiner Erhaltung als vorzüglich eingeordnet. Das 57 mm durchmessende Exemplar mit glattem Rand wurde Anfang 2024 für einen Schätzpreis von 40000 Euro für eine spätere Auktion offeriert ...
