Description
Nederlands: Informatiepaneel ‘Kreken van Nibbeland in de Romeinse tijd’ bij het gelijknamige Archeologiepark in Zuidland, aan de Jupiterlaan. Archeologisch onderzoek in de periode 2005-2011 in Zuidland wees uit dat hier in de Romeinse tijd boerderijen stonden. Langs de oevers van een kreek slibde het land hoger op. In de Romeinse tijd bouwden de inheemse boeren dáár hun boerderijen. Ze draineerden hun land met greppels, sloten en houten duikers. Ook bouwden zij dammen van opgeworpen klei om de waterhuishouding te regelen. Op de oostelijke oever is een grafveld met enkele crematiegraven aangetroffen. Grafvelden uit de Romeinse tijd worden in deze regio zelden aangetroffen.

Samenwerkingsverband tussen Archeologie Rotterdam (BOOR), Gemeente Nissewaard en Stichting Archeologie in het Maasmondgebied.
