| Description |
English: The monument in March 2021, to be compared with its pristine state, June 2015 : ►(File:18 June 1815 – Waterloo – Hougoumont. "Closing the Gates on War".jpg). Located and oriented as it is, the monument is hardly ever exposed to the sunshine ; as a result, moss is creeping up on the marble, a short six years after the 2015 inauguration. Moving it by a few meters would improve its fate – or simply cleaning it up. |
