Summary

[edit]
Description

A postcard sent to Ted Claxton. Showing a map of England and Wales, indicating lime-free areas for health reasons.

It is of course nonsense. Herne Bay, for example, is in a hard water area. It took its water at that time from chalk beds, and was full of lime in 1905.
