Summary[edit]

Description
English: Photograph of the 200 block of Hamilton Street, taken about 1908. It shows a parade of fire engines passing the buisness of D. J. Roth, which sold everything from pots to roofing. The building with the large bull painted on the wall is the Thomas Johnson & Christian Swartz wholesale grocery. These buildings were torn down in the mid-1960s during the redevelopment of lower Hamilton Street.
