Description
Deutsch: Von der Künstlerin Änne Koken gestaltete und ganzseitig mehrfarbig reproduzierte Werbeanzeige in der Illustrirten Zeitung Nr. 3538 vom 20. April 1911. Unter der beinahe expressionistisch skizzierten Darstellung der damaligen Fabrikgebäude der VSM Vogelschau, mit ihren rauchenden Schornsteinen, den Fabrikhallen an der Schulenburger Landstraße und den Eisenbahngleisen am (heute so genannten) Bahnhof Hannover-Nordstadt und der Künstlersignatur Kokens findet sich der Text

„Vereinigte Schmirgel- und Maschinen-Fabriken AG. / vorm. S. Oppenheim & Co. und Schlesinger & Co. / Hannover-Hainholz“

Darunter sind zwei Schutzmarken des Unternehmens abgebildet, die mit dem Hirschkäfer für die VSM sowie die mit der Schildkröte für das Hansa-Mills Schmirgel-Werk. Neben Abbildungen der Zweigwerke in Harburg und London. Zudem findet sich eine Auflistung von Produkten der VSM:

„Schmirgel, Schmirgelleinen, Schmirgelpapier, Glaspapier, Flintsteinpapier, Schmirgelscheiben, Schleifmaschinen, Fräsmaschinen, Formmaschinen, Giesserei-Betriebs-Maschinen und Sandaufbereitungs-Anlagen“
