En esta importante institucion, exclusivamente dedicada a la ensenañza, han dado principio las clases correspondientes al XXXIV curso escolar, continuando abierta la matricula ordinaria hasta el dia 15 del corriente, de tres a siete de la tarde y de nueve a doce de la noche, en la Secrateria del Centro, plaza del Angel,8, segundo, donde se facilitaran al publico informes detallados.

Justifica el decidido apoyo que en todo momento ha prestado la Prensa a este Centro de cultura popular, la redentora labor educativa que en el mismo se realiza, donde de los 1849 matriculados en el curso anterior, 700 recibieron enseñanza completamente gratuita, habiendose concedido premios en cartillas del Monte de Piedad, inscripciones en el Instituto Nacional de Prevision y otros, por valor de 1.320 pesetas.

Forman su consejo de inspeccion, del qual es presidente el excelentismo señor Marques de Urquijo y Secretario D. Constantino Rodriguez, los señores Presidentes de las Camaras oficiales de Comercio y de la Industria, el del Circulo de la Union Mercantil, el Delegado Regio de Fomento, D. Mariano Sabas Muniesa, y el patrono D. Bruno Largacha, a quien, asi como a los Sres. Martin Rodrigo, Cabrelles, Encinas, Ortiz, Infante, Lopez, Carazo, Martinez, Sacristan, Quintin, Saez, Lara, Fortuny y Marban, que bajo la presidencia del Ecmo. Sr. D. Carlos Prast forman actualmente la Directiva, enviamos nuestro cariñoso aplauso por el entusiasmo con que trabajan por el egrandecimiento del Centro de Instruccion Comercial, que tanto contribuye al desarollo de la cultura patria.
