Description
English: Thomas Stryken wins Mälaren runt in 1916. The win was mentioned in a Wed July 12 newspaper article, so this may be on July 9 or 10. This cycling event somehow, was part of "Svenska SPelen", a 1-week tournament that was held 8 to 16 of July 1916. The picture is at Stockholm Stadium, where the race ended. He is wearing the Norwegian flag, and Norway became independent of Sweden only 9 years before.
