| Description |
Deutsch: Am 18. September 1930 während einer Feierlichkeit enthülltes Mosaik an der Außenmauer der Anfang des 21. Jahrhunderts als Grundschule Kestnerstraße (Kestnerstraße 38–39) in der Südstadt von Hannover. Mehrere Tausend von einem Metallrahmen eingefasste, gebrannte und farbig bemalte Mosaikplättchen, viele davon mit Blattgold, bilden einen mittelalterlich wirkenden Roland mit dem in die Höhe gehaltenen Schwert. Das vormalige Sinnbild städtischer Autonomie diente hier an dem ehemals als Schulkaserne genutzten Gebäude als Gedenktafel für die Gefallenen des Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 73. Laut der ebenfalls aus Mosaikplättchen gebildeten Inschrift
