Summary
[edit]Description1936 Cadillac Series 85 V12 Sedan.jpg |
The V12 was only available in a Cadillac from 1931-37, it was a well built, powerful, top of the line car. Originally called the Series 370 from 1931-35 (370A,B,C,D and E) and then the Series 80 or longer wheelbase Series 85 from 1936-37. The even more expensive V16 was very similar but a 4inch longer hood. The new, and more reliable V8 was introduced in 1937, so the V12 was dropped (the V16 continued on until 1940) Engine; 368 cu in V12. Also available; 346 cu in V8 Series 70 and 452 cu in V16 Series 90 |
