Description

The Super Snipe evolved though several versions, each designated by a Mark number, each generally larger, more powerful, and more modern, until production ended in 1957 1945 MkI; 4086cc 6 an enlarged version of the model before, the Hawk. 1948 MkII; the headlights moved into the guards (round parkers below lights). 1949; MkII; rectangular side parkers. 1950 MkIII; dome shaped bumpers and stainless steel treads on running boards.

1952 MkIV; used the lesser Hawk body, but lengthened and new 4138cc OHV 6 (Hawk 2267cc).
