Aerial survey safety training - practice letdown, assuming parachute has caught in a tree. G.M. Thomas is hanging from parachute risers to simulate this condition. The let-down rope has been rigged through the harness d-rings with a loop under the foot. It is now being fastened to risers which will remain in the tree. Sellwood Laboratory. Portland, Oregon.
