Summary[edit]

Description
English: 1970 AMC Javelin "Mark Donohue" SST, a muscle pony car built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). A total of 2,501 were built to homologate the Donohue-designed rear ducktail spoiler which also features his signature on the right-hand side. Designed for Trans-Am racing, the rules required factory production of 2,500 spoiler-equipped cars. This car has AMC's 390 CID (6.4 L) 315 hp (235 kW) V8 engine with Ram-Air hood, automatic transmission with a center console-mounted shifter. The cars could be ordered in any color (including "Big Bad" exteriors) and upholstery, as well as with any combination of extra-cost options. This car has the available black bodyside rally-stripes, as well as the standard green interior with vinyl upholstery. Photographed at the 2021 Potomac Ramblers Car Club meeting.
