Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 1971 AMC Gremlin two-passenger - the most basic model - an economical subcompact built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This base model in red has no rear seat, and the rear window is fixed, so access to the luggage or cargo area is achieved by folding the front seats forward. This car is in its original factory condition. It has a black base interior and the standard 232 cu. in. (3.8 L) six-cylinder (135 hp.) engine with a three-speed manual floor shift. The whitewall tires and AM radio were optional. The wheels were factory painted to match the body color.
  • These pictures were taken during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention in June 2024, organized by the Potomac Ramblers Club. Most events were held at the Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum as well as by Union Station in the historic section of Petersburg, Virginia.
