Deutsch: 1. Dresdner Dampflokfest: vom 1. bis 3.Mai 1992 fand das erste Dresdner Dampflokfest statt. Das Bahnbetriebswerk ist mit dem Ausbau des Böhmischen Bahnhofs verknüpft.
Von 1861 bis 1864 erfolgte der Bau des Bahnhofs Dresden-Altstadt, der den Güterverkehr vom Böhmischen Bahnhof übernahm. In den Jahren 1871 und 1872 schloss sich eine zweite Erweiterung an, während der ein Heizhaus für 20 Lokomotiven, das spätere Heizhaus 1, und ein Kohleschuppen auf dem Gelände des späteren Bahnbetriebswerks Dresden-Altstadt errichtet wurden. Vier Jahre später folgte eine Verlängerung des Kohlenschuppens und – nach einer Verlegung des Weißeritzmühlgrabens – der Bau des im Jahr 1877 fertiggestellten Heizhauses 2 mit 19 Ständen begann. Ein im Jahr 1884 errichteter dreistöckiger Anbau an das Heizhaus 1 bot erstmals Umkleideräume sowie Übernachtungs- und Waschmöglichkeiten für das Personal und beherbergte einen Hochbehälter für die Wasserversorgung. Ein wesentlicher Teil der Eisenbahnsammlung des Dresdner Verkehrsmuseums befindet sich seit den 1970er Jahren auf dem Altstädter Betriebsgelände. Seit 1977 beheimatet das ehemalige Heizhaus 1 die betriebsfähigen Traditionslokomotiven. Im Jahre 1999 gründete sich mit dem Verein „IG Bw Dresden-Altstadt e. V.“ eine Interessengemeinschaft für den Erhalt des Standorts. Mit den ausgestellten Fahrzeugen: BR 01 137-03 001-17 1055-19 017- 24 004-62 015- 89 6009-92 503-94 2105-98 001 waren die bekannten Dampfloks präsent. Sonderfahrten unternahmen die BR 50 3688.English: 1st Dresden Steam Locomotive Festival: The first Dresden Steam Locomotive Festival took place from May 1st to 3rd, 1992. The depot is linked to the expansion of the Bohemian railway station.
From 1861 to 1864, the Dresden-Altstadt station was built, which took over freight traffic from the Bohemian station. A second expansion followed in 1871 and 1872, during which a boiler house for 20 locomotives, later boiler house 1, and a coal shed were built on the site of what would later be the Dresden-Altstadt depot. Four years later, the coal shed was lengthened and - after the Weißeritzmühlgraben had been relocated - construction began on boiler house 2, which was completed in 1877, with 19 stalls. A three-storey extension to Heizhaus 1 built in 1884 offered changing rooms as well as overnight accommodation and washing facilities for the staff and housed an elevated tank for the water supply. A substantial part of the railway collection of the Dresden Transport Museum has been on the old town's premises since the 1970s. The former boiler house 1 has been home to the operational traditional locomotives since 1977. In 1999 the association "IG Bw Dresden-Altstadt e. V. “an interest group for the preservation of the location. The well-known steam locomotives were present with the vehicles on display: BR 01 137-03 001-17 1055-19 017- 24 004-62 015- 89 6009-92 503-94 2105-98 001. The class 50 3688 undertook special trips. |
