ไทย: งานประเพณีสลากย้อมประจำปี 2557

ประเพณีการทานสลากภัต สลากย้อม เป็นประเพณีสำคัญที่ จังหวัดลำพูนซึ่งได้จัดสืบทอดติดต่อมาเป็นเวลานานแล้ว โดย จัดขึ้นทุก วันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดิอน 12 เหนือ ทั้งนี้เพื่อเป็นการอนุรักษ์ สืบสานวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีอันดีงามของชาวลำพูนในอดีต และเพื่อเป็น การส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวของจังหวัด โดย ในปีนี้ จัดระหว่างวันที่ 5 - 8 กันยายน 2557 ซึ่งกิจกรรม ในงาน วันนี้ ( 8 กันยายน 2557 ) จะมี การ สาธิต วิธีทำ ครัวหย้อง ครัวใช้ ของชาวเหนือ , การประกวด การฮ่ำกะโลง , การแสดงซอ พื้นเมือง และ การถวายทานสลาก พระสงฆ์ สามเณร อ่านเส้นสลาก และ ให้พร แก่ ผู้ถวายทานสลาก

ในอดีต ประเพณีทานสลากย้อม เป็นการทำบุญที่เจาะจงเฉพาะสุภาพสตรีเท่านั้น โดย ต้นสลากย้อม จะมี การตกแต่ง อย่างสวยงาม ใช้ไม้ไผ่ เป็นวัสดุหลัก ในการประกอบ มีการย้อมสีตรงปลายเรียวไม้ไผ่หลายหลากสี ของที่นำมาแขวนจะแต่ง ย้อมสี สวยงาม เพื่อให้สมกับเป็นการทำบุญครั้งยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในชีวิต สิ่งของที่นำมาถวายจะเป็นสิ่งของที่ช่วยบำรุงความสวยงามของสตรีเช่น กระจก, แป้ง, หวี, สิ่งของเครื่องใช้ ปัจจัยต่าง ๆ โดย ชาวเหนือ มีความเชื่อว่าการร่วมทำบุญในพิธีสลากย้อม จะได้รับอนิสงฆ์ เทียบเท่ากับการบวชของผู้ชาย และ เชื่อว่าจะทำให้เป็นผู้ที่มีความสวยงาม ถือเป็นประเพณีท้องถิ่นที่สามารถพบได้แห่งเดียวที่จังหวัดลำพูน .
