English: Blink animation of two 300-second exposures of Jupiter's irregular moon S/2003 J 23, taken by Brett Gladman with the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope's MegaPrime CCD camera on 24 February 2017 during an observing run for the OSSOS survey. The images were taken approximately 15 minutes apart, showing the moon's motion relative to the background stars and galaxies. In the first exposure, a bright satellite streaks diagonally across the image. The raw image datasets used are 2079627p and 2079630p. |
