<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/greggjerdingen/collections/72157631550277505/">Click here for more car pictures at my Flickr site.</a> As soon as I saw the preview articles and advertisements for the Dodge Magnum, I had to have one. I knew I would have to wait for a used one and kept an eye out. Originally, I wanted the Midnight Pearl Blue, but then I looked at a SE model with the black grille and decided that the cross hair grille was not very visible with the dark blue color. I was not aware of the grille variations of the SE, SXT and RT yet. I then switched my search toward the Inferno Red Crystal Pearl. Panic struck when rumors and then the actual dropping of the Magnum model occurred. I stepped up my efforts and bought my 2005 RT, with 14,000 miles, in 2009. Seeing this Midnight Blue SXT ( with an attractive aftermarket grille) reminded me of my original quest that ended with the acquisition my Inferno Red RT. The Magnum and I are still very happy together six years later. |
