The states are color-coded: red meaning a Republican incumbent, blue meaning a Democratic incumbent, and yellow meaning an independent candidate. Gray means no seats in that state are up for reelection in 2006. Light blue means a Democratic incumbent is not running and pink means the Republican incumbent will not run in 2006. | |||
