日本語: 平成23年１月29日、玄葉大臣は、筑波研究学園都市にある物質・材料研究機構を訪問しました。
物質・材料研究機構の研究施設では、レアアースを使わないハイブリッド自動車用ネオジム磁石の研究や二酸化炭素排出量の大幅削減に貢献する超耐熱合金の研究、文部科学省の「世界トップレベル研究拠点プログラム」に選定されている「国際ナノアーキテクトニクス研究拠点」など、最先端の科学技術開発の現場の状況を視察しました。 今回の訪問で大臣は、科学技術が国家戦略として位置づけられるべきものであることを再確認するとともに、今後も科学技術を推進していくための方向性を出していくために多くの示唆を受けることができました。 |
