Description
Deutsch: Gedenkminute am Grab von Chief Meli in Old Moschi/Tansania, der nach einem Aufstand gegen die deutsche Kolonialmacht abgeurteilt und gehängt wurde (siehe Aststumpf). Sein Kopf wurde abgetrennt und um Virchow-Institut nach Berlin geschickt.
English: Commemoration at the grave of Chief Meli, the head of the Chagga-Tribe and leader of of an uprising against colonial Germany. In the aftermath his was hanged on the tree (see removed branch), his head was removed and sent to the Virchow-Institute in Berlin.
