Description
English: At Pukaskwa National Park in Ontario, Canada, the Southern Headland Trail climbs, meanders and descends for 1.3 miles along a rocky peninsula, through rugged terrain dotted with stands of typical Canadian Shield boreal forest and past unusual examples of arctic-alpine plants, lichens, and other specialized flora shielded amongst the rock formations. Magnificent views of the Lake Superior shoreline are plentiful too. As seen on a July 2015 afternoon.
