Summary[edit]

Description
English: Battle railway station was designed by William Tress and opened in 1852. It has a stroing Gothic style in honour of nearby Battle Abbey and was rated three stars in Simon Jenkins' Britain's 100 Best Railway Stations. This is the inside of the ticket hall with its grand fireplace and the Gothic-arched door to the platform.
