Polski: W czwartkowy wieczór w Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Informatyki i Przedsiębiorczości w Łomży odbyła się uroczysta gala 18. Dywizji Zmechanizowanej. Historia, miejsce stacjonowania i funkcjonowanie 18 Dywizji Piechoty w Łomży oraz historia życia generała Franciszka Krajowskiego to tematy wykładów informacyjnych wygłoszonych w ramach wczorajszej gali. Po wykładach, dowódca 18 Dywizji Zmechanizowanej, gen. Jarosław Gromadziński wręczył medale „Tradycja & Współczesność” osobom zasłużonym dla „Żelaznej Dywizji”. Odznaczenie otrzymał wojewoda podlaski Bohdan Paszkowski.
Na zakończenie uroczystości odbył się koncert Reprezentacyjnego Zespołu Artystycznego Wojska Polskiego. Członkowie zespołu wykonali utwory z okresu II Rzeczypospolitej oraz wojny obronnej 1939 roku. 18. Dywizja Zmechanizowana składa się z trzech Brygad: Zmechanizowanej, Strzelców Podhalańskich i Pancernej. W jej skład wchodzi też Pułk Logistyczny utworzony w dawnej jednostce wojskowej w Łomży. |
