Description
Português: Cerimônia de homenagem ao Dia Internacional da Mulher, comemorado hoje (8). O evento integra a programação da campanha Março Mulher, que neste ano tem como foco os 90 anos da conquista do direito ao voto feminino no Brasil.
A homenagem conta com a apresentação da Orquestra Sinfônica da Força Aérea Brasileira, no Salão Negro do Congresso. As ações do Março Mulher são desenvolvidas pela Secretaria da Mulher, em conjunto com a Procuradoria Especial da Mulher do Senado e apoio de instituições parceiras.
O principal objetivo da campanha Março Mulher é celebrar as conquistas sociais, políticas e econômicas das mulheres ao longo dos anos, bem como debater e conscientizar a população em geral sobre as desigualdades de gênero, além de destacar a importância da conquista do direito ao voto das brasileiras.
Participam do evento:
líder da bancada feminina do Senado Federal, senadora Eliziane Gama (Cidadania-MA);
deputada Joice Hasselmann (União-SP).
