Deutsch: Als vor 20 Jahren ein Griff an einem Topf aus den 1980er Jahren ausbrach, konnte man noch Paare von Ersatzgriffen kaufen. Wunderbarerweise überstand der 2. Ersatzgriff zwei Umzüge und weitere 20 Jahre, so dass er 2023 für eine erneut fällige Topfreparatur zur Verfügung steht.
English: When a handle broke on a 1980s pot 20 years ago, it was still possible to buy pairs of replacement handles. Miraculously, the 2nd replacement handle survived two moves and another 20 years, so it is available in 2023 for a pot repair that is due again.
