Description
Čeština: Dne 20.8. 2023 byl podstavec pomníku "Čest a sláva Sovětské armádě" pomalován velkými číslicemi 68. Ve zřejmé narážce na okupaci Československa v roce 1968. Socha vzdává čest armádě, která v roce 1968 provedla vojenskou invazi. Dne 21.8. při vzpomínce na zabité občany během invaze v roce 1968 přibyla symbolická zakrvácená vlajka na podstavec informační tabulky.
English: On August 20, 2023, the base of the monument "Honor and Glory to the Soviet Army" was painted with the large numerals 68. In an obvious reference to the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968. The statue honours the army that carried out the military invasion in 1968. On 21.8. in memory of the citizens killed during the invasion in 1968, a symbolic bloodstained flag was added to the base of the information board.
Deutsch: Am 20. August 2023 wurde der Sockel des Denkmals „Ehre und Ruhm der Sowjetarmee“ mit den großen Ziffern 68 bemalt. In offensichtlicher Anspielung auf die Besetzung der Tschechoslowakei im Jahr 1968. Die Statue ehrt die Armee, die den Militäreinsatz durchführte Invasion im Jahr 1968. Am 21.8. Zum Gedenken an die bei der Invasion im Jahr 1968 getöteten Bürger wurde am Sockel der Informationstafel eine symbolische blutbefleckte Flagge angebracht.
