Description
English: Stencil on the Deutz Bridge "From here, your life expectancy drops by 6 years". This was sprayed on Cologne's bridges by unknown persons in 2024 and refers to the health atlas, which attests that residents of districts such as Mülheim have a lower median age of death than those in Lindenthal, for example. This is explained, among other things, by the displacement of poorer people to districts on the right bank of the Rhine.
Deutsch: Stencil auf der Deutzer Brücke "Ab hier sinkt Deinbe Lebens Erwartung um 6 Jahre". Dies wurde von Unbekannten 2024 auf die Kölner Brücken gesprüht und bezieht sich auf den Gesundheitsatlas Köln, der Bewohnern von Stadtteilen wie Mülheim im Median ein niedriges Sterbealter wie solchen etwa in Lindenthal attestiert. Dies wird u.A. mit der Verdrängung ärmerer Menschen in rechtsrheinische Stadtteile erklärt.
