| Description |
English: The end of Route 396 where it joins Route 4 in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, Japan. The large sign shows that Route 4 leads to Hanamaki to the south and to the north Ninohe and Akita. The road straight ahead leads to central Morioka and the Meiji Bridge. Barely isible in the distance is Mt. Iwate, nearer and straight ahead are the towers atop the NTT building in the downtown area. The Minami Ohashi bridge is just to the left crossing the Kitakami River. |
