Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Visitation Stained Glass Window at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City was installed in 1908 by F. X. Zettler of the House of Littler, Royal Bavarian Institute in Munich. It is the second in a set of five windows depicting the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary along the west side of the Cathedral. The window is dedicated to the memory of Patrick Phelan, an Irish boy who came to the United States in 1849 and made his fortune in mining. When he died in 1901 he left the fortune to the Diocese of Salt Lake City, with the stipulation that most of it be used for support of St. Ann Orphanage.
