| Description |
English: Looking west on 14th Street from the corner of West Street in Union City, New Jersey, in the late afternoon of March 4, 2017. In the background is the remains of SS. Joseph and Michael Parish Church on Central Avenue, to which a six-alarm fire that started around 1am EST at 1404 Summit Avenue had spread. The two casualties of the fire were Eddie Gonzalez Jr., a 2-year-old boy killed in the fire, and his father, Eddie Gonzalez Sr., who was seriously burned trying to save him. At left is the Blue Chapel.
