Blazon

  • Shield: Or, on a pentagon point up per bend Azure and Gules, a lightning flash throughout bendwise of the field overall a dragon affronté displayed Purpure fimbriated of the first.
  • Crest: That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Army Reserve:  From a wreath Or and Azure, the Lexington Minute Man Proper.  The statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the common in Lexington, Massachusetts.
  • Motto: French: "Frons Cursor" (Front Runners)

Symbolism

  • Shield: The pentagon is a symbol of the military establishment and the five points represent the elements of Information Operations:  operation security, electronic warfare, military information support to operations, computer network operations and military deception.  Blue stands for intelligence and red for determination.  The lightning flash signifies speed.  The purple dragon, a blend of blue and red mixed, signifies courage.  The dragon is rising indicating the will to go above and beyond.
  • Crest: The crest is that of the United States Army Reserve.

The coat of arms was approved on 30 September 2010.
