Description 330-PSA-159-64 (USN 1102943A): Seabee Technical Assistance Team (STAT). An injured Thailand youth is lifted into a jeep by two Navy Seabees for transportation to the medical center. The STAT teams in Thailand establish dispensaries when Thais are treated for injuries, and disease and given shots. The medical assistance provided by STAT teams is part of the United States’ Aid program. Teams are currently deployed to Thailand, under aid sponsorship; Vietnam, under NAP and aid sponsorship; Chile, under NAP sponsorship; Upper Volta, under aid sponsorship; and Costa Rica, under aid sponsorship.
