Description
English: 330-PS-8741: The new anti-submarine torpedo, the MK-43, is launched easily from aircraft and from surface ships. The acoustic-homing torpedo is actually a submersible guided missile and is capable of searching great depths for enemy targets. It is propelled by an electric motor which receives its power from a storage battery. The new torpedo wad designed and developed for the Navy’s Bureau of Ordnance by the Clevite Corporation.
