Description/Blazon

• Shield: Azure, within a border Argent a sprig of oak fructed bendwise Proper, surmounted by a Lorraine Cross of the second.
• Motto: CROSS AND OAK.

Symbolism

• Shield: As the 364th Infantry shares equally in the history and honors of the former 367th Infantry, the crest to the arms of the former 367th Infantry has been placed on a shield within a white border to denote the descent from the parent organization.  Service in World War I is represented by the oak symbolizing the Argonne and the cross symbolizing Lorraine.

Background

The coat of arms was originally approved for the 364th Infantry Regiment on 7 December 1942.  It was amended to revise the blazon on 4 January 1943.  The insignia was redesignated for the 367th Infantry Regiment with the description updated on 30 August 1999.
