| Description |
English: 18 August 2016, Headquarters Naval Forces West, Brgy Macarascas, Puerto Princesa City -- The Naval Forces West celebrated its 39th Founding Anniversary and graced by the Flag Officer In Command, Philippine Navy, Vice Admiral Ceasar C Taccad AFP as the guest of honor and speaker. In this special occasion, the NFW gave recognition to its partner stakeholders for their invaluable commitment and support to the Command; and awarded the best Officer of the year, Enlisted Personnel, Civilian Employee, and Operational Control (OPCON) unit for their outstanding performance for the past year.
The plaque of recognition was bestowed by the Flag Officer In Command and assisted by the Commander, Naval Forces West. After the program, the blessing and unveiling of marker of the newly constructed basketball court of the Naval Station Carlito Cunanan was held. It was attended by the officers and men of the NFW and led by the FOIC, PN. |
