Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Soldiers (and their spotters) firing the Sharpshooter rifle during Exercise Lions Shot. Exercise Lions Shot gives Reservists a crucial opportunity to hone one of the most important skills of an infantryman, marksmanship. Over a 2-week period, 4 LANCS soldiers train on the SA-80 Rifle, Glock Service Pistol, Sharpshooter, Underslung Grenade Launcher, Grenades and the NLAW (an Anti-Tank Weapon System). This will give the Reservists a chance to get used to a range of weapons that serve different purposes, making them more effective soldiers.
