Description Section of old photo postcard of the Town Hall, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by Cuthbert Brodrick, completed 1858. Showing a portion of Great George Street, viewed from Oxford Place, with the high wall of the Town Hall on the right. The building with the carriage entrance arch may be the stone carving yard premises of the Mawer family at 50 Great George Street, occupied during much of the 19th century.
