The Reichsbahn Railway Mail Trains used Two Types of Railway Mail (Bahnpost) postmarks of which the least known two postmarks are the ‘Rectangle Postmarks’ least familiar. The Rarest and the most interesting type of Bavarian TPO postmarks are the ‘Double Circle postmarks ‘for reasons un-known not always applied for postmarking on railway mail letters and cards, illustrated here with all the known stations. The two terminal stations appear between circles. On it “Upside down”. The date in the inner-circle with “ZUG or KURS” followed by the train number or trip in curved format. |
