Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Standard MTA Helvetica sign at the 65th Street Subway station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line in the Woodside section of Queens, New York City. This exit, which claims to lead to Rowan Street actually leads to the northeast corner of 65th Street and Broadway. Rowan Street was the previous name for 65th Street until sometime in the 1920's and the old name was kept for people who still called it by that name. Evidently when this sign was installed, the MTA thought most of the people who called it that were on the north side of Broadway.
