Description
Français : Vosges, Moraine de Noirgueux sur les communes de Saint-Nabord, Saint-Étienne-lès-Remiremont, Éloyes, Remiremont : le canal d'alimentation de Bouzey.

Les travaux d'édification de la rigole et de ses ouvrages entre la prise d'eau de Remiremont et Arches, sur 19,467 km, ont débuté en 1882 et ont été terminés en 1887 (Extrait de « Le canal de l'Est, branche sud » par M. Boulet, ingénieur en chef des Ponts et Chaussées du département des Vosges, Science et industrie, 1935).

La rigole principale débute à Saint-Etienne-lès-Remiremont. Une partie de l'eau de la Moselle est déviée sur la rigole, où elle s'écoule par gravité sur plus de 45 kilomètres jusqu'au réservoir de Bouzey. De là elle se déverse dans le canal des Vosges et sert aux besoins de la navigation, essentiellement des plaisanciers (Le canal d'alimentation de Bouzey, panneau de signalétique sur le sentier pédagogique de la moraine de Noirgueux)
