Description
English: The buildings located at 7841 (right) and 7843 (left) Main Street in Middletown, Virginia, are contributing properties to the Middletown Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. 7841 Main Street is historically known as the Hite-Edmonson House, also known as the Bailey House, and was built sometime between 1880-1910. 7843 Main Street was built in 1890 and housed the Middletown State Bank until 1967, when it merged with F&M (Farmers and Merchants) National Bank, later closing in 1985. Since that time it has housed several restaurants, the current one being Vault & Cellar.
