Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88106_DSC01264.JPG Notes: השריד האחרון מבית הכנסת הוא כותלו המערבי אשר שרד ועדיין עומד על תילו. בכותל השתמרו עיטורים מגולפים בדמות אריות וכפות ידיים נשואות. בצד שמאל נמצאת כתובת 'הקדש עולם' של אפרים פישל (אווירבאך) ממנהיגי החסידים בצפת באמצע המאה ה-19. ב-2012, נכלל בית הכנסת ברשימת 26 בתי הכנסת הזקוקים לשימור בעיר העתיקה בצפת שהגישה ועדת היגוי בין-משרדית בראשות אגף תוכנית מורשת במשרד רה"מ, בהמשך להחלטת הממשלה להקים ועדה שתגבש את מסקנותיה לגבי מצב שימור העיר.
