Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88725_20220619_111842.jpg Notes: מייסדי המושבה ראשון לציון ישנו בלילות הראשונים, ב1882 , על ראש הגבעה, לרגלי עצי שקמה עתיקה, עליה הוקם בית העלמין בשנת 1884. הנפטרת הראשונה שנקברה במקום הייתה בת חודשיים, בתם של הביל"ויים חיים ופאניה חיסין. בבית העלמין טמונים ראשי היישוב ומייסדיו ובהם צבי הכהן לבונטין, זלמן דוד לבונטין, יהודה חנקין, נחמה פוחצ'בסקי, המורה ישראל בלקינד, ממייסדי ביל"ו; אחיו שמשון ופנינה בלקינד. בניהם, נעמן ואיתן, נטמנו ב1919 אך עצמותיהם הועברו להר הרצל ב-1977. ועוד רבים.לאחר קום המדינה הוקמה במקום חלקה צבאית.
