Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_90652_מחוברים 1.jpeg Notes: המושב הוקם ב 1947 באזור השרון כ-4.5 ק"מ מצפון לרעננה. הוא נקרא על שם מסדר בני ציון בארצות הברית שסייע בהקמת המושב ע"י מחלקת המעמד הבינוני של הסוכנות היהודית ומועצת החקלאות הפרטית. חברת רסקו בנתה את הבתים. אדמות היישוב, נקנו על ידי מסדר בני ציון. הסוכנות היהודית והקרן הקיימת חפרו באר מים, הקימו מחנה צריפים, חדר נשק להגנה מפני ערביי הסביבה, בריכה לאגירת מי גשמים ואוהלים. בין המתיישבים הראשונים היו חקלאים, חיילים יהודים משוחררי הצבא הבריטי שחלקם היו גם בשבי הגרמני, חיילי הבריגדה וניצולי השואה.
