Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_90770_20211029_114720.jpg Notes: מפעל היין גדול בן כ-1500 שנים, התגלה בחפירות במזרח יבנה. חישוב משוער של יכולת הייצור של הגיתות מסכם, שמהמקום יצאו כ -2 מיליון ליטרים של יין מידי שנה. המפעל, שנחשף, כולל חמש גיתות לייצור יין, מחסנים ליישון היין ולשיווקו, דרכי הובלה , תנורים להכנת מכלי החרס לאחסון היין, שברי קנקני חרס וקנקנים שלמים. כל אחת מהגיתות שנחשפו, השתרעה על שטח של כ200 מ"ר. סביב רצפת הדריכה נבנו תאים לתסיסת היין, ולידם בורות מתומנים לאיסוף היין שנוצר. בחפירה ביבנה נחשפו גיתות נדירות נוספות מלפני כ-2300 שנה.
